12 weeks to go!!

I am 28 weeks today and feeling Raegen move at LEAST ten times an hour! Probably a lot more....she is SO active! :) 

I will back up to the weekend before now to Saturday, where my mom, Mike, Skylar, Kelly- Raegen's godmother and my best friend, Mikes parents, and I went to this awesome place called ClearSight Ultrasound!!

They do 3D/4D Ultrasounds for people who they are not medically necessary for and who's doctor's office and insurance will not cover! It is out of pocket, but totally worth it! My Mom was nice enough to pay for it as a gift for us! The session was amazing and although it was supposed to be a ten minute ultrasound we got 25 minutes out of the tech! Raegen had her hand up infront of her face for a while so we had to try to poke and prod her out of her comfort zone to get some shots of her face! She is so pretty and has Mike's nose and cheeks and eyes (they were closed but they are big and spaced out like his) and my chin and pouty bottom lip!! I think she also has my face shape but we will have to see! She is a prissy girl and was making movements with her hand like she was brushing her hair which anyone who knows me knows I tend to have an OCDness with tousling my hair a million times in a day lol...and she is perfect and cute looking with big strong feet and hands :)  I already love her to bits! We also got a DVD recording from the session of the whole 25 minutes, I have already watched it twice since we have left!! :)

This past Thursday i had to go to my 28 week appointment for my Glucose Screening Appointment at my doctor's office. I was nervous because I have heard how bad this drink is that you have to take in order for them to test how your body processes sugar but I have to say, to me it was not bad at all. It tasted like Fruit Punch Kool Aid to me, the only part that wasn't so great was waiting the hour between drinking the drink for them to take blood. I haven't heard any results back from the test so I am assuming that means I do not need to come back in! If something showed up as a warning for gestational diabetes you are supposed to come back in and do a second test with a stronger drink to test your blood again.

So as far as an update on how my body is doing, It is now becoming pretty uncomfortable to sit at work for the 8 hours I am there and Thursdays are especially hard because I go from work to class where I sit again until 8:40 PM. Thank God I am graduating this December!! :)  Raegen has also just started kicking me RIGHT in the bladder, feels like im being shot by a BB Gun!! I also have increased my bathroom breaks during the day to about every 20 minutes.. Its really hard to turn over on my other side when I am laying in bed too...I am also just now starting to get the weird cravings...I have been eating sweets the whole time being pregnant which I never ate before I was pregnant but now are some WEIRD cravings...For Example.. lunch the other day- microwaveable white castle mini cheeseburgers with leftover chinese fried rice.  Yesterday's snack- english muffin with ranch veggie dip. Last night-STRONG craving for Kiwis...i have actually craved a LOT of fruits since I have been pregnant which has been a definite increase for me because before it was just an apple or banana in the day, now I want kiwis, melon, plums, tangerines, mangos...you name it LOL.

The last update on my list to share is something that maybe I sound crazy for signing up for at 7 months pregnant and already in class one night a week- I have become a

PAMPERED CHEF INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT!! woohoo!!

I have already booked 6 parties for November - All my faithful loving friends :) Thank you for your help in starting my business, and I think it is going to be a really fun way for me to make some extra money! Cooking shows are perfect ways to get the girlfriends together for an evening for some wine and good food and games!! Hosting a cooking show is a great way to earn free products that will make great gifts for the holidays! I just hosted my own grand opening show last Sunday and earned $125.00 in free products from my total party sales! So 4 more weeks until my baby shower- I can't wait!!!

12 weeks to go until Raegen is here and I hope this last trimester doesnt move as slow as molasses!!!

Fall Festivities

This weekend was full of fun FALL things!
Friday we went out and got some halloween decorations for the house and shopped for Sky's halloween costume which ended up being a "cheetah girl" costume. I was told by a lady also waiting for her kids to try on costumes, about a cool app for your phone, maybe im late on this one but I hadn't heard about it...its called GeoQpon and it had a really good coupon for Michael's so we went over there and got a cute halloween flag!

Saturday we headed out to the fair, Mike usually has to work the fair most shifts (Harris Electric wires the entire fair and runs back up each day in case a vendor blows a fuse) but this year he hasnt been scheduled at all so we all three went out Saturday morning and stayed well into the evening! I have not yet tried the newest deep fried food of the year - Deep Fried Kool Aid, but i def plan to try next weekend when we go back with friends!! I got Raegen a really cool wooden carved picture frame for her room with her name and the meaning of it carved in. I was totally surprised they had her name and on top of that had it spelled the way I spell it since most people spell it "Reagan" or "Regan". Besides having to pee every 35 minutes we had a really good time and it was perfect weather out...Of course we did encounter that one rude person during our fair day, This guy was sitting on an empty bench by one of the kiddie rides and I wanted to sit down to wait for Skylar on her ride she was doing so I went to ask him if I could sit down next to him and he told me that he was waiting for his whole family to come sit down so I couldn't sit down....umm escuse me, I am pregnant and you are a lazy fata**. That is what I wanted to say....but didn't..and Mike was in the bathroom at this time or I am sure he would have said something to the guy. I ended up going around the other side of the ride where I could see her and sitting down at a table.

Sunday (Today) we went out to Ashland Berry Farm to get our pumpkins, we get them every year from there and it was very nice to go this early on in the year because there wasn't even a line for the hayride out to the farm. It did start raining though while we were out at the pumpkin patch but not too hard! We got a big pumpkin for each of us, a Raegen pumpkin that is baby sized and a few other baby sized ones Sky picked that are yellow and green...they look nothing like pumpkins lol It was definitely fall weather out today; we drank hot apple cider which is one of my absolute favorite things about Fall!

And this is my 25 week Baby bump picture, because i was misinformed how many weeks i was lol , its not as dumb as it sounds, the counting in pregnancy is weird- you all know what I am talking about!! haha so according to the ticker I added to the bottom of my blog I am 25 weeks not 26  like I thought- so last weeks pic that says 25 weeks was really 24...:)

Up to Speed…

So as you know, I am pregnant with a baby girl who we have decided to name Raegen Leigh Taylor, who is due on January 15, 2012. I have not been good about taking pictures every week of the “bump” so I want to just bring you up to speed with all the ones I have taken so far and promise to be better about weekly posts/pics from now on. I have been inspired to get on the blog wagon by my friend Kristin who is also pregnant and has been very good about taking weekly photos and posting!!
